Whitsuntide 2026 Community Concert

Celebrate Whitsuntide/Pentecost with the Christian Israelite Church

With so much uncertainty in the world today—from global unrest to the very real pressures of the rising cost of living—it is easy to feel weighed down. For many, the future can feel unpredictable and the path forward unclear. This Whitsuntide, the Christian Israelite Church invites you to an evening of music and reflection as we look for steady ground together. Our theme, Hope in a Changing World, is a quiet reminder that even when things feel unsettled, we can find strength in God's promises and in our care for one another.

The concert will feature our brass band, choir, musical items and drama performances.

For our church community, Whitsuntide is a season of deep meaning. We look back with gratitude to the gifts of the Law (Shavuot) and the Holy Spirit (Pentecost), and we also look forward with expectation.

This weekend is a time for us to renew our faith in the return of Jesus Christ and the redemption of spirit, soul and body. It is a celebration of a plan that is still unfolding—a hope that encourages us to live with trust and preparation, no matter what is happening in the world around us.

We don't have all the answers to the world's problems, but we believe in the power of coming together to find encouragement. Whether you are looking for a way to celebrate Whitsuntide, a moment of spiritual reflection, or just a friendly place to spend an evening, you are most welcome to join us.
